A new year means new themed events at one of the best vacation spots in Ohio for families - Lake Wapusun RV Resort of course! We have a theme planned every weekend in non-peak season (4/4/2025 - 5/23/2025 & 8/18/2025 - 10/26/2025) and every week during peak season (5/23/2025 - 8/17/2025). With all this to say, we will have 20 different themed events to choose from in 2025! Keep reading to find out what themes we are most excited about and which ones are traditional camper-favorites!

Clean Up BBQ Bash Weekends - April 4-13

Join us for the Clean Up BBQ Bash at Lake Wapusun RV Resort! Seasonal guests will kick off the weekend sprucing up their lots. Then, celebrate your hard work with a sizzling BBQ feast, great company, and good vibes!

Mother's Day Weekend - May 9-11

Treat mom to a relaxing lakeside getaway! Kids can get crafty with a special Mother's Day project, while mom enjoys a complimentary sip & paint experience just for her.

Totally 80's Weekends - May 16-26

Join us for a totally rad Memorial Day Weekend celebrating all things 80's! Groove to the sounds of the 80's with live music, enjoy 80's themed entertainment, and more.

Color Splash Week - June 16-22

Jump into a vibrant week of color fun water fun! Bring your glow gear to show off at the foamtastic fun glow party, and enjoy lively kids' entertainment!

Christmas in July Weeks - July 14-27

Step right up for a week of carnival excitement! Stop by the carnival event for games and prizes that everyone will love, and have even more festive fun with kids entertainment. Enjoy classic carnival foods and clown around with carnival crafts!

WHERE CAN I FIND PRICING INFORMATION?

Our rates are subject to change throughout the season and are dependent on the site that you choose, when you plan to visit, and how many other people will be joining you. To check our rates and availability, please check out our booking website for more information.

WHAT ARE YOUR HOURS OF OPERATION?

Our General Store is open seven days a week from 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM. For reservations and other questions our office is open Monday – Friday from 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM. Feel free to call us at (330) 496-2355.

DO YOU HAVE SEASONAL RV SITES?

DO YOU ALLOW PETS?

Well-behaved and vaccinated pets are welcome but must be on a leash when outside your vehicle or attended in the designated fenced off-leash pet area. A two (2) pet maximum is allowed per reserved lot – no exceptions. Always clean up after your pets. Do not leave pets tethered or in a pen outside when you are absent. No pets other than service animals are allowed in the office or laundry. Owner is responsible for their pets and their actions. Dogs with a history aggressive and/or nuisance behaviors are not allowed. Breed restrictions are made on a case by case basis. (or any other breed not permitted due to local law).

HOW FAR IS YOUR OHIO CAMPGROUND FROM ME?

We offer some of the best camping in Ohio because we are centrally located in Ohio about an hour drive from both Cleveland and Columbus! We are about a 20 minute drive from Wooster and even closer to Loudonville.

Lake Wapusun is one of the best and most centrally located seasonal campgrounds in Ohio. We are about a 20 minute drive from Wooster and even closer to Loudonville. If you are from Cleveland or Columbus, you are looking at about an hour drive through Ohio's beautiful country roads!
